Jelly and Ice Cream

Love them or hate them the jelly shoe revival is happening and they are a cute and quirky must have this summer, provided you choose carefully and piece your outfit together appropriately.
The brand JuJu are known for sourcing their materials and manufacturing their jelly shoes, sandals and wellies in the UK (Northampton to be precise). They're jelly shoes became a popular choice of footwear for children on the beach in the 80's and 90's but have made a comeback this summer with a new range of brightly coloured shoes.

I adore this summery colour and think that these would go perfectly with frilly white ankle socks  and a denim pinafore dress.

I own a similar pair of Jelly shoes but in black

I like the contrast between the black shoe and the white buckle also the versatility of this pair is very good  and I found loads of looks on line from casual day wear, to a fun night time look. The last time I wore these shoes was for a family BBQ and I wore them with a  misguided porcelain print swing dress:

£14.99
Urban Outfitters
Vintage Renewal Levi's Denim Jacket

Topshop
Chunky Skull Bar Necklace
£12.50
However, my favourite pair, that I found after a school friend Instagrammed a picture of what are possibly the cutest shoes I've ever seen
JuJu
Maxi Low Jelly

The colour is adorable and would be perfect with a pair of denim dungarees or casual denim cut off shorts.

And to make this designer dessert a little sweeter, here is the next song on your summer playlist: Battles (ft.Matius Aguayo)-Ice Cream
